Since 1976 CALLAHEAD has been advancing the portable sanitation industry with the most revolutionary equipment and service in the field. The is another CALLAHEAD exclusive, and invention by Charles W. Howard, CALLAHEAD’s President and CEO. Mr. Howard invented the ground-breaking sink system in 1986 to deliver the best porcelain sink system for office and container trailers at the construction site or other long-term locations. The will provide 35 gallons of clean non-potable/non-drinkable water with its own portable water and sewer system at locations without any water source available. CALLAHEAD is New York’s largest portable sanitation company commanding 65-75% of the market due to CALLAHEAD’s countless innovations and unsurpassed service.

The main components of our include a vanity sink that operates just like any kitchen sink with counter space, a faucet, and hot and cold running water. There are a 110-volt electric on-demand pump, Bosch hot water heater, and a suitcase-style 35-gallon freshwater tank that utilizes very minimal space. Water filters, strainers, check valve, pick-up line, and an automatic low water shut-off switch are also included. The has two strainers with stainless steel mesh filters. One strainer is connected to the pick-up line, and another connected to the on demand pump to provide a double filter system to remove particles and debris. A separate black polyethylene gray water waste tank is placed directly outside the trailer and is equipped with an electric heater to prevent freeze-ups.

CALLAHEAD’s changed the industry forever. Our sink system has conveniently delivered running non-potable sink water to thousands of locations throughout New York for decades. The CALLAHEAD provided the foundation for many industries to have the ability to offer employees and patrons running sink water where there is no water source available. Before the PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM was invented, locations without a water source would have to use water fountains and bottled water, which does not work for commercial jobs and residential sinks. In New York, our water sources are most often supplied from a domestic water line from upstate New York watersheds or an underground well. When job-sites do not have one of these two water sources available, CALLAHEAD’s will deliver running non-potable sink water to job-site office trailers, containment trailers, residential houses, garages, sheds, and shacks.

The is also perfect for providing hot and cold sink water to any remote location such as parks, fields, beaches, ships, and barges. CALLAHEAD’s is designed to work perfectly through New York’s coldest winter and you will never have to worry about a water freeze-up.

A CALLAHEAD professional uniformed technician will deliver and set up the to your location. In most cases, office trailers or container trailers already include a bathroom vanity installed. However, if your trailer does not include a vanity, CALLAHEAD’s service technician will go to a local supplier and purchase a beautifully appointed bathroom vanity to install inside the office trailer restroom or office space. Typically, we will install a wood vanity cabinet with a porcelain sink basin and countertop. The vanity will include a wood cabinet door under the sink. We will install a beautiful chrome double handle French-style faucet with a pull-up drain valve for the sink. The faucet will provide high water flow and plenty of water pressure from our 110-Volt on-demand water pump. The hot and cold faucet valves are left for hot water and right for cold water. These can be adjusted to the desired water temperature. The hot water is produced instantly from our Bosch hot water heater.

A pedestal sink is also a perfect option for the CALLAHEAD PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM. With a pedestal sink, the pump mounts conveniently underneath the sink on the back wall, and the plumbing lines are tucked underneath both in front of the pump and to the sides. The hot water heater mounts on the floor directly underneath the pedestal sink. The CALLAHEAD chrome faucet mounts on to the sink and has either a 4-inch or 8-inch spread. We offer both of these faucets, and CALLAHEAD has installed thousands of PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM with pedestal sinks.

The CALLAHEAD has a 35-gallon freshwater storage tank that supplies water to the sink system. The ¼” thick freshwater tank is constructed of durable polyethylene plastic. The polyethylene color is semi-clear so users can see the waterline and know when refills are necessary. The freshwater tank has a 4-inch cap on top for easy refills and sterilizing by a CALLAHEAD professional service technician at every service. A PVC pick-up line extends to the bottom of the tank, and a flow switch is connected to the water pick-up line to turn off automatically to prevent the pump from overheating or burning out. At the other end of the pick-up line, this comes out of a thru-hull fitting, and is located at the top of the tank to secure it in place. From this point, a stainless steel mesh strainer is connected to the pick-up line to stop particles and debris from getting into the faucet. At the other end of the pick-up line, we have another in-line stainless steel mesh strainer. CALLAHEAD’s includes TWO stainless steel mesh strainers with one at the freshwater tank and the other connected to the pump to provide a double filter system for clear, clean, fresh non-potable water. The 115-Volt on-demand automatic water pump turns on automatically when you turn on the faucet. CALLAHEAD’s pumps water at 3.6 gallons per minute with 40 pounds of water pressure. With this kind of water pressure, users will believe CALLAHEAD’s is connected to a water main.

The freshwater holding tank of CALLAHEAD’s is a suitcase-style ¼ inch thick semi-clear polyethylene plastic filled with 35-gallons of fresh non-potable and non-drinkable sink water. The suitcase-style freshwater holding tank is compact to take up minimal space inside the office trailer or container trailer. The freshwater tank is designed to take up as little floor space as possible. It can go up against any wall vertically or horizontally. Our fresh holding tank dimensions are only 12-inches deep, 20-inches high, and 30-inches wide when horizontal. When the tank is placed vertically, it will remain 12-inches deep and changes to 30-inches in height and 20-inches in width. The tanks semi-clear coloring makes it convenient to monitor when water is running low, and refills are required. Our freshwater tank is equipped with an automatic low water shut-off switch to prevent the pump from running when out of water. This automatic switch also will let the customer know when they are out of water for refills. The only openings for the freshwater tank are at the top of the tank, virtually eliminating water leaks. A black 4-inch cap is located on the top of the tank for easy refills. The cap has a cable connected to the tank so it will not get misplaced. The cap should always be sealed tight. CALLAHEAD’s signature signage is located at the top of the tank. A CALLAHEAD refill notice sign bar is located at the bottom of the tank for convenience.

The ’s 50-gallon grey water holding tank is black and is a durable ¼ inch thick polyethylene material and set-up directly outside the office trailer or container trailer. CALLAHEAD designed our grey water holding tanks with two 3-inch threaded female flange connections with caps. There are also three 10-inch black equipment covers to allow for the installation of equipment inside the grey water holding tanks such as heaters, pumps, water shut-off valves, high water alarms, etc. The equipment covers and caps also allow for our service technicians to supply our hospital-grade sanitary cleaning inside the grey water holding tank at each service. All caps and covers on the grey water holding tank also include plastic-coated cables connected to the tank so they will never get lost. CALLAHEAD’s PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM was invented and perfected by CALLAHEAD to ensure you won’t have to worry about having grey water overflows or freeze-ups in winter. Inside our grey water tank is an electric 110-volt heater sitting at the bottom. When the temperature outside drops below 40-degrees, the waste tank heater automatically turns on to prevent any freezing. When serviced, a CALLAHEAD waste tank truck will pump all the grey water from the waste tank and sanitize the inside with cleaners and disinfectants.

CALLAHEAD delivers our freshwater to the in one of CALLAHEAD’s signature freshwater ONLY box trucks. Refill service can be scheduled automatically daily, weekly, or monthly. We can also provide freshwater delivery service on-call whichever you prefer. CALLAHEAD’s freshwater delivery trucks have only been used to transport fresh non-potable water, and have NEVER been used or contaminated with grey water. CALLAHEAD’s signature waste tank trucks have also only been used to transport waste, and NEVER used for freshwater delivery. This ensures you will never ever have to worry about freshwater contamination when renting the PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM from CALLAHEAD.

The is equipped with a Bosch hot water heater from Germany. CALLAHEAD thoroughly tested dozens of hot water heaters to ensure we only provided the best for this system. After many tests, we found the Bosch to be the most reliable and best hot water heater available in today’s market. It is a 2.5-gallon hot water heater and provides continuous hot water. At CALLAHEAD, we always use the best products available. The Bosch hot water heater is a perfect example of this. For the Bosch hot water heater to operate with the , a 20 amp breaker is necessary. Without the hot water heater, the requires a 15 amp breaker.

"Products Push Out, Services Spring Back." Charles W. Howard, President and CEO

The drain and trap of the CALLAHEAD can go straight through the floor to the crawl space to hook up to the waste tank for typical office trailers. It can also turn after the trap and go straight out of the wall behind the sink and down to the waste tank sitting on the outside wall of the trailer. This version is most often done for containment office trailers that sit directly on the ground and do not have any crawl space underneath for waste tanks and equipment.

With CALLAHEAD’s , we use a 35-gallon sink tank. We feel this is the perfect size for several reasons. To begin, it is large enough to run 2 to 4 gallons of water per minute. Also, it must be refilled often enough to not allow growth inside the tank and creating odor. CALLAHEAD prefers to have our tanks refilled anywhere from 2 to 4 times per month to keep the water fresh, odor-free, and eliminate any growth inside the tank.

The is winterized, so you will never have to worry about freezing during the coldest winter months in New York. All pumps, fresh water plumbing lines are located inside the trailer, which is perfect for preventing freezing of the freshwater supply. As for the grey water discharge, which goes into the black waste tank located outside the trailer, we use a 1,500-watt submergible tank heater to stop the grey water from freezing, and our service technician can pump out and sterilize the tank at each service without freeze-ups. We also vent our grey water waste tank with a vent stack pipe that is hooked up to the grey water pipe under the trailer. The vent stack goes up through the roof of the trailer for proper venting of grey water, creating a chimney effect. As the air passes, the vent stack builds negative pressure in the pipe, pulling the waste fumes up and out into the atmosphere to eliminate odors.

When our CALLAHEAD professional service technician installs the , we believe in a perfect fit and finish job. This would include all equipment perfectly clean, and in like-new condition, all equipment perfectly placed squared-off and perpendicular. All plumbing lines, electric lines, pumps etc. mounted and clamped to walls and tie-strapped tucked evenly nice and neat. In fact, all water plumbing lines going from the freshwater tank to the pump and the faucet are PEX tubing, which is the most durable leak-resistant plumbing lines available in the industry. The entire area will be cleaned up by our technician. Once your is installed, all of our customers are contacted by phone the next day to check on the installation. We will have our CALLAHEAD inspector come to your location to take pictures of any changes or repairs to ensure complete customer happiness with the CALLAHEAD .

At CALLAHEAD, our company and equipment are always under development and evolving, requiring constant change. Other companies say their employees have extensive training or go through weeks of training. For a CALLAHEAD employee, our training is never-ending. A CALLAHEAD professional service technician’s training extends throughout our employees’ entire career with CALLAHEAD due to our constant development and change to advance the industry. Training simply never ends at CALLAHEAD. After every installation of our , our CALLAHEAD inspector will be sent to your location to take photos and notes to ensure everything is perfect. If there are any needed corrections and improvements to be made, our inspector will ensure the job is done correctly for guaranteed customer satisfaction.

CALLAHEAD’s is designed and set-up to operate as a completely separate system from any toilet system. This means that every single piece of equipment, including the freshwater tanks, grey water tanks, pumps, PVC and pipes, filters, heaters, plumbing, electrical lines, etc. operate only for the and nothing else. With CALLAHEAD’s , we will never combine any aspect of this system with any toilet system, ever! Our waste water tanks and freshwater tanks are set-up only for the PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM to guarantee a zero chance of cross-contamination for your sanitary protection. Unlike other companies, we deliver our freshwater for sinks with our box truck that only carries fresh water. We would never deliver any sink water with a toilet truck! CALLAHEAD has thousands of sink systems out in the field throughout the New York area, and our box water truck delivers sink water needed to all of these locations.

CALLAHEAD’s can only be set-up to operate inside and never outside the office trailer or container trailer to secure the freshwater of this ground-breaking system. Many unsanitary conditions inhibit our ability to operate the outside, such as rodents, dust, and dirt, to contaminate the freshwater supply. Additionally, with the PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM located outside the trailer, you are also at risk of vandalism. For example, the freshwater tank cap removed, exposing freshwater to contamination. To ensure complete control and sanitary, fresh sink water, the can only be installed inside for your protection and safety.

CALLAHEAD’s service technician will also install water signs above the ’s vanity or pedestal sink on delivery and setup. These signs are designed to ensure all users understand the ’s water is non-potable water, and should NOT be used for human consumption. Non-potable water means water can NEVER be used to drink, cook with, or even to make coffee. The PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM is the ideal system for sanitary protection at the workplace for handwashing, cleaning dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, and other small houseware items using antibacterial soap and our freshwater supply delivered with the system. CALLAHEAD also offers the option of adding chlorine pellets to the freshwater tank to help eliminate algae and growth from forming inside the freshwater tank, which can occur over an extended time. CALLAHEAD recommends refilling and servicing the at least every two to four weeks to help avoid growth inside the fresh water tank.

CALLAHEAD’s is the ideal solution to help maintain a healthy workplace and overall living environment to eliminate the spread of germs causing illnesses. In fact, keeping hands clean is one of the most important ways to prevent the spread of infection and illness. Infectious diseases commonly spreads through hand-to-hand contact include the common cold, flu, and many other illnesses. The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention has concluded, “Handwashing is the single most important means of preventing the spread of infection.” Our hands are the most likely part of the body to come into contact with harmful substances. Failure to take basic precautions can also lead to skin complaints such as dermatitis and eczema. The delivers clean, fresh water to job sites and locations where there is no water source available. Inadequate hand hygiene also contributes to food-related illnesses, such as salmonella and E. coli infection. According to the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention, as many as 76 million Americans contract a food-borne illness each year. “Handwashing” is a critical element in proper hygiene as germs can stay alive on hands for up to 3 hours. When there is no water source available at the construction site office or containment trailer or other remote location, the PORCELAIN SINK SYSTEM delivers the perfect solution to help eliminate unsanitary conditions.
