The wheelchair-accessible ramp has stainless steel handrails leading up to a spacious deck entrance. The ’s A.D.A. compliant extra-wide self-closing entry door locks from the inside and triggers an exterior occupancy sign to alert others in line when the restroom is available. This occupancy sign can be seen off the ramp to eliminate any confusion and back-ups on the entry ramp. The handicap restroom is clearly marked and includes CALLAHEAD’s signature signage.
The HORIZON’s handicap restroom has a macerator porcelain toilet bowl with a lever flush. A triple roll toilet paper holder is easily accessible near the toilet seat. Wall-mounted vertical and horizontal safety handrails near the toilet will provide the extra safety needed when using the bathroom. The vanity area has a wall-mounted porcelain sink with an auto shut-off faucet and offers hot and cold water. The wall-hung sink is opened below for easy wheelchair access.
