The by CALLAHEAD™ is an advanced, commercial-grade portable sink system engineered to deliver the convenience, performance, and reliability of a permanent utility sink—without requiring a domestic sewer connection. Developed by prolific inventor and CALLAHEAD™ President and CEO Charles W. Howard, the combines a full-size 304 stainless-steel utility sink, dedicated freshwater and gray-water holding tanks, multi-stage water filtration, an on-demand pressurized water system, hot-water and cold running water, and a high-efficiency water circulation system into one completely self-contained portable solution. Designed for demanding commercial, construction, industrial, infrastructure, and temporary locations, the provides dependable running water wherever a conventional water connection is unavailable or impractical. Unlike ordinary portable handwashing sinks, the is engineered as a full-size commercial sink system designed for extended use. It provides hot and cold running water while maintaining its own independent fresh-water and gray-water systems. The operates completely independently of the DOTCOMM™ toilet system if rented together. The sink has its own dedicated fresh-water tank and its own dedicated gray-water holding tank, allowing the sink to function as a separate, self-contained water system. The represents another example of CALLAHEAD™ engineering portable equipment to provide the functionality and convenience of permanent plumbing in locations where permanent plumbing is unavailable.
At the center of the is a durable 304 stainless-steel utility sink designed for demanding commercial environments where durability, sanitation, and ease of cleaning are essential. The sink measures: • 36" high • 20" wide • 20" deep The shallow basin design makes the sink easy to clean while providing a substantial working area for washing, rinsing, and general utility use.The sink is equipped with a 3.5-inch backsplash and an upgraded gooseneck faucet with 360- degree swivel capability. The faucet rotates in any direction to provide excellent coverage throughout the basin, making cleaning and washing easier and more convenient. The 304 stainless-steel construction provides a durable, rust-resistant surface well suited for demanding jobsite, commercial, industrial, or any location where commercial sinks are required. The sink is supported by a stainless-steel utility sink free-standing frame with adjustable legs, allowing the system to be stabilized on various surfaces.
The is equipped with a dedicated 30-gallon fresh-water holding tank, providing the sink with its own independent water supply. The fresh-water holding tank measures approximately: • 30" wide • 20" high • 12" deep • 30-gallon capacity The fresh-water system operates completely separately from the toilet system when both systems are rented together. The will never share its fresh-water supply with a DOTCOMM™ TOILET SYSTEM or any other toilet system. This independent configuration allows CALLAHEAD™ to provide a reliable supply of water to the sink without requiring a conventional domestic water connection.
The incorporates a multi-stage water filtration system designed to filter the fresh water before it reaches the sink and water-delivery components. Water from the 30-gallon fresh-water holding tank passes through a blue in-line heavy-duty Tstrainer water filter equipped with a clear, screw-off 120-mesh bowl and filter. The clear screw-off bowl allows the filtration component to be readily accessed for inspection and service. After passing through the first filtration stage, the water is then pulled through an additional .50- mesh strainer, which is connected to CALLAHEAD's on-demand water pump. This filtration arrangement is designed to help protect the pumping system and associated waterdelivery components while providing filtered water to the sink.
The utilizes a commercial 115-volt automatic shut-off, on-demand, self-priming, auto-restart water pump. The pump draws water from the fresh-water holding tank through the filtration system and supplies pressurized water to the sink. The on-demand design allows the pump to operate when water is required, while the automatic shut-off feature stops the pump when water demand ends. The pump provides approximately 45 PSI of water pressure, delivering dependable, pressurized water to the . The combination of independent water storage, multi-stage filtration, and on-demand pumping allows the to provide the convenience of running water in locations without a conventional water connection.
One of the defining features of the is its ability to provide genuine hot and cold running water from a completely self-contained system. The incorporates a 2.5-gallon stainless-steel water heater with a laser-welded, rust-resistant construction. The water heater utilizes a 1,500-watt L-shaped heating element designed to increase the heating surface area within the tank and improve heat exchange during the heating process. The water heater automatically maintains the water at the desired temperature through its temperature-control system. The water heater operates using standard 115-volt electrical power and is rated at 15 amps. This combination of self-contained fresh-water storage, filtration, pressurized water delivery, and hot-water capability provides users with a level of convenience normally associated with a permanent utility sink.
The is equipped with its own dedicated 30-gallon gray-water holding tank. The gray-water tank measures approximately: • 30" wide • 20" high • 10" deep • 30-gallon capacity All water discharged from the sink is collected in the dedicated gray-water holding tank. The gray-water system operates completely independently from any other system. This is an important engineering distinction of the . The sink's used water is collected separately as gray water and does not share the toilet system's waste-water system. By providing independent fresh-water and gray-water systems, CALLAHEAD™ has engineered the as a truly stand-alone portable sink solution.
The is also equipped with a CALLAHEAD™ Aqua Mover™ circulation pump. The Aqua Mover™ is a specialized high-efficiency circulation pump designed to move water within the fresh-water holding system to help prevent stagnant water and promote water movement within the tank. The circulation pump moves approximately 2,100 gallons per hour and operates on standard 115- volt electrical power. The addition of a dedicated circulation system demonstrates CALLAHEAD's approach to portable water-system engineering: developing not simply a tank and sink, but a complete system designed around water delivery, circulation, filtration, and dependable operation.
Beneath the sink, the is the S-shaped drainpipe that helps stop odors from rising from the gray-water waste tank into the sink and surrounding workspace. The curved pipe retains a small amount of water after the sink drains. This standing water forms a seal between the sink drain and the gray water holding tank, blocking the pathway through which tank odors could otherwise travel upward. As the sink is used, discharged water passes through the trap into the gray-water tank while replenishing the water seal. The and Aqua Mover™ serve separate, complementary functions. The Aqua Mover™ keeps fresh water circulating inside the supply tank, while the provides a water barrier against odors from the gray-water waste tank. Together with independent fresh-water and gray-water tanks, filtration, and professional maintenance, these features demonstrate the attention CALLAHEAD™ gives to the complete system—from water storage and delivery to drainage and odor control.
The is engineered to provide the functionality of a permanent commercial utility sink while remaining completely portable. The dedicated 30-gallon fresh-water tank eliminates the need for a domestic water connection, while the independent 30-gallon gray-water holding tank eliminates the need for a conventional sewer connection. This makes the an ideal solution for locations where permanent plumbing is unavailable, impractical, or not yet installed. The system can also be utilized in conjunction with CALLAHEAD's innovative Portable Water and Sewer System, providing additional installation flexibility for office trailers, modular facilities, construction sites, and other temporary or remote locations.
The was designed for demanding locations where a dependable, fullsize sink with running water is required. Ideal applications include: • Construction site office trailers • Construction and field offices • Highway and infrastructure projects • Long-term DOT projects • Energy and utility projects • Utility staging areas • Industrial facilities • Industrial yard offices • Rail projects • Port projects • Airport projects • Temporary office facilities • Modular buildings • Commercial properties • Industrial properties • Disaster response facilities • Emergency response operations • Government projects • Remote work locations • Bathroom and building renovations • Temporary facilities • Other long-term or short-term commercial applications The is particularly well suited for office trailers and temporary buildings, where a full-size utility sink with hot and cold running water provides a level of convenience and functionality far beyond a conventional portable handwashing station.
The is designed to serve both long-term and short-term applications. For long-term construction and infrastructure projects, the system provides a dependable source of hot and cold running water for crews, supervisors, contractors, managers, and visitors. For short-term applications, the system provides a self-contained commercial sink where temporary access to running water is required. Because the entire system is portable and self-contained, it can be delivered and installed where it is needed without requiring the construction of permanent plumbing infrastructure.
The represents the type of specialized equipment that distinguishes CALLAHEAD™ from ordinary portable sanitation companies. Rather than simply placing a residential sink and water tank together, CALLAHEAD™ engineered the as an integrated commercial water-delivery system. The system combines: 304 Stainless-Steel Sink 30-Gallon Fresh-Water Tank Multi-Stage Water Filtration120-Mesh T-Strainer Filter 50-Mesh Secondary Strainer 115-Volt On-Demand Pump Automatic Shut-Off Self-Priming & Auto-Restart Pump 45 PSI Water Pressure 2.5-Gallon Stainless-Steel Water Heater 1,500-Watt Heating Element Independent 30-Gallon Grey-Water Tank CALLAHEAD™ Aqua Mover™ Circulation Pump Standing Sink Trap Approximately 2,100 GPH Circulation into one integrated portable sink system. Operation Installation and Service
The by CALLAHEAD™ is designed to help control unpleasant odors through fresh-water circulation, independent gray-water collection, and professional service. The quality of a portable sink installation depends on more than the fixture itself. Attention to the water stored in its tanks is an essential part of dependable operation.
Inside the dedicated fresh-water tank, the Aqua Mover™ creates continuous water movement. This high-efficiency circulation pump moves approximately 2,100 gallons per hour within the tank, helping prevent the stagnant conditions associated with stale, musty water odors.
The Aqua Mover™ circulates the stored fresh water, while separate filtration components capture particles and the on-demand pump supplies pressurized water to the faucet. These components perform different functions within one integrated water-delivery system.
Used sink water drains into a separate 30-gallon gray water holding tank. The sink does not share its fresh water supply or gray water collection with a toilet system, even when both systems are rented together. Water collected after use is not returned to the sink’s fresh water supply.
Beneath the sink, the Standing Sink Trap provides an additional barrier against odors. The S shaped trap retains water to form a seal that prevents odors from rising from the gray-water waste tank through the sink drain.
Combined with tank servicing and equipment maintenance, this independent arrangement supports a fresher, more pleasant sink installation for office trailers, temporary buildings, and commercial locations.
The includes its own dedicated 30-gallon fresh-water holding tank, allowing it to provide running water without requiring a conventional domestic water connection.
Water travels from the holding tank through the filtration components to the automatic on-demand pump, which supplies the sink's hot- and cold-water system. This dedicated supply allows the sink to operate as a stand-alone unit in locations where permanent plumbing is unavailable or impractical.
When a is rented together with a toilet system, the sink's fresh-water supply remains separate. CALLAHEAD™ maintains this independent configuration so the sink has its own water storage and delivery components.
Fresh-water replenishment is an important part of ongoing service. CALLAHEAD™ works with customers to address the water needs of their installation throughout both short-term and long-term rentals.
The is equipped with a dedicated 30-gallon gray water holding tank that collects water discharged from the sink. This separate collection system allows the sink to operate without a conventional sewer connection.
The grey water tank serves the sink independently and does not share the toilet system's waste holding tank. Keeping these systems separate allows sink water use and grey-water collection to be managed as their own service requirements.
Tank access and placement are important considerations during installation so CALLAHEAD™ technicians can service the equipment. Removal of collected grey water helps maintain available holding capacity and supports continued sink operation.
The result is a portable sink with its own water supply and its own used-water collection system, designed for locations where permanent water and sewer infrastructure is not available.
The incorporates two filtration stages between its fresh-water storage and water-delivery components.
The first stage is a heavy-duty in-line T-strainer with a clear, screw-off bowl and a 120-mesh filter. The clear bowl provides visibility for inspection, while the removable design allows access for service.
An additional 50-mesh strainer is connected to the on-demand water pump. These strainers help capture particles before water reaches the pump and associated delivery components.
Filtration and circulation serve separate purposes. The filtration components capture particles, while the Aqua Mover™ keeps water moving within the fresh-water tank. CALLAHEAD™ combines these functions as part of the complete .
The uses a commercial 115-volt, on-demand water pump to deliver approximately 45 PSI of water pressure. The pump draws water from the dedicated fresh-water tank through the filtration system and supplies pressurized water to the sink.
The pump features automatic shut-off, self-priming, and auto-restart capabilities. Its on-demand operation allows it to respond when water is required and stop when demand ends, providing convenient faucet operation without a domestic pressurized water connection.
This is the sink's water-delivery pump. It operates separately from the Aqua Mover™, which circulates water within the fresh-water holding tank. One component moves water inside the tank; the other delivers water to the sink.
CALLAHEAD™ selected this pumping arrangement to support a full-size commercial utility sink with dependable running water. Together with independent storage, filtration, and hot-water capability, it brings the convenience of a permanent sink to temporary locations.
The provides hot and cold running water through a dedicated water-delivery and heating system.
Its 2.5-gallon stainless-steel water heater features laser-welded, rust-resistant construction and a 1,500-watt L-shaped heating element. Automatic temperature control maintains the selected water temperature within the heater.
The water heater operates on standard 115-volt electrical power and has a 15-amp rating. Electrical requirements for the complete installation must account for the heater, on-demand pump, and Aqua Mover™ together.
The full-size 304 stainless-steel sink and swivel gooseneck faucet provide a practical working area for washing and rinsing. For office trailers and temporary commercial facilities, this combination offers the functionality of a utility sink without requiring permanent water and sewer connections.
CALLAHEAD™ approaches delivery and installation as part of the complete rental. Our uniformed installation technician delivers the sink and supporting equipment, including the independent fresh-water and gray water tanks, filtration components, on-demand pump, water heater, and Aqua Mover™.
Equipment placement is coordinated with the site's layout, available space, electrical supply, and service access. The sink's adjustable legs allow the free-standing frame to be stabilized, while the tanks and supporting components are positioned for their intended operation and maintenance.
The fresh-water supply is connected through the filtration and pumping system to the sink's hot-and cold-water components. The drain is connected to the dedicated gray water holding tank. Both water systems remain separate from any toilet installation at the location.
The completed setup is checked for water delivery, faucet operation, drainage, and leaks. Attention also extends to the operation of the pump, water heater, and Aqua Mover™, along with the arrangement of plumbing and electrical connections.
Before leaving, the technician cleans the areas affected by the installation and explains the equipment's operation and service arrangements. CALLAHEAD™ provides installation and service throughout New York City's Five Boroughs, Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties, extending to Montauk Point.
CALLAHEAD™ uses a documented inspection process to review the quality of completed installations. After the is delivered and installed, a uniformed inspector visits the site in a signature VW inspection vehicle.
The inspector records detailed notes and photographs of the sink and its supporting equipment. The review considers equipment placement, sink stability, tank access, cleanliness, and the arrangement of plumbing and electrical connections. For the sink system, attention also extends to the filtration components, automatic pump, water heater, Aqua Mover™, and independent grey-water collection.
Inspection notes and photographs are reviewed at the CALLAHEAD™ office. If improvements are needed, the installation technician receives specific instructions and returns to complete the necessary work. A follow-up inspection verifies the changes, and the records are retained in the customer's file for future reference.
Customers may also request an inspector to review installation, service, or operating questions. This additional oversight reflects the CALLAHEAD™ belief that a carefully engineered system deserves equally careful installation and support.
The is supported by the CALLAHEAD™ fleet throughout delivery, installation, inspection, fresh-water replenishment, and grey-water service. Each vehicle serves a defined role in supporting your equipment.
Delivery and installation trucks. CALLAHEAD™ box trucks transport the sink, tanks, and supporting equipment to your location. Uniformed installation technicians deliver and set up the system.
VW inspection vehicles. Our signature white vehicles with navy signage bring CALLAHEAD™ inspectors to review completed installations and document the quality of the work.
Dedicated fresh-water delivery trucks. These trucks replenish the sink's independent water supply. Their enclosed stainless-steel tanks are dedicated to fresh-water delivery and have never carried wastewater.
Waste-service trucks. CALLAHEAD™ waste-service vehicles remove collected water from the sink's grey-water holding tank as part of the rental's service arrangements.
CALLAHEAD™ purchases vehicles new, customizes them for company operations, and maintains them through regular servicing and daily cleaning. Our vehicles and uniformed personnel represent both CALLAHEAD™ and your choice of service provider whenever they arrive at your property.
At CALLAHEAD™, consistency begins with quality equipment and continues through installation, inspection, maintenance, and customer support. The reflects that approach by combining commercial components with established service procedures.
The 304 stainless-steel sink, dedicated tanks, filtration components, on-demand pump, water heater, and Aqua Mover™ each contribute to the performance of the complete system. Maintaining that performance requires attention to the supporting service operation as well as the equipment itself.
CALLAHEAD™ invests in backup resources to support continuity. Our approach includes additional route drivers and trucks, matching replacement equipment in our yards, and office staffing and communication capacity beyond basic operating needs.
Our commitment to consistency includes uniformed personnel, regularly maintained vehicles, documented inspections, organized service routes, and technicians trained to follow established cleaning and maintenance methods.
By serving New York exclusively, CALLAHEAD™ maintains close oversight of equipment and service throughout its operating territory. For customers, that means a local company supporting the from initial delivery through final removal.
We also continue to develop and improve our equipment and procedures. Consistency means applying those improvements throughout the business, so customers benefit from dependable standards at every stage of their rental.
The CALLAHEAD™ plaque identifies your and provides convenient access to the company responsible for its service.
The 6-inch by 5-inch aluminum plaque is engraved with CALLAHEAD™ contact information. Silver lettering against a navy background and a chiseled appearance give the plaque a distinctive, permanent presentation. Positioned above or near the sink, it keeps service information accessible to the people using the equipment.
The plaque also represents your investment in quality washing facilities for employees, contractors, and visitors. Providing a full-size commercial sink with hot and cold running water demonstrates attention to the everyday needs of the people at your site.
The CALLAHEAD™ name connects that equipment to the installation, inspection, and service behind it. Our goal is for customers to feel confident in both the and the company supporting it.
